Concerts
Having studied at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, Georgina is well-versed with concert performance and enjoys the engagement it creates between audience and performer. Highlights include her solo debut with the Cardiff Chamber Orchestra, performing Elgar's Em cello concerto, and her solo performances on tour in Poland, where she played 'Elegie' by Faure for the public.
As well as her performances as a soloist, Georgina has participated in many chamber concerts with former chamber groups and has been relied upon to perform chamber reductions of orchestral pieces with the Cardiff Chamber Orchestra.
Orchestral Performance
Georgina is a very experienced orchestral musician with great enthusiasm for this area of performance. She is fortunate to have had numerous valuable orchestral experiences, such as performing as part of the CBSO Youth Orchestra for multiple seasons, she has also performed several times with the RWCMD Symphony and Chamber Orchestras, and has held the principal seat with the Cardiff Chamber Orchestra for all of their first two seasons.
Function Performances
Georgina is experienced in performing for various events and functions, both as a soloist and chamber musician. Examples include: weddings, proms and educational outreach events.
